Henrietta Crips ¹⁷³⁷

Henrietta married Jesse Bennington, son of Thomas Bennington and Mary, on 12 Apr 1858 in Whitchurch, York County, Ontario.¹⁷³⁷ (Jesse Bennington was born about 1826 in England ¹⁷³⁷.)

  Marriage Notes:

What I know of Henretta is very limited. After she married Jessy Bennington they came to Michigan and settled in or around Dwight. Hence the 1860 census. Either they were Divorced or Jessy died between 1860 and 1864. Henrietta Married David Bradd in Port Austin of Huron County, Michigan. They had the following children: Andrew in 1866, William in 1868, Daniel in 1871, Laura in 1874( she died in 1875 cause unknowen), Sarah born 1875 (she died in 1875 cause neglect) and Martha in 1878. in the 1900 and 1910 census for Huron it says she had 7 children 4 living. I am guessing there was probably another one between Sarah and Martha but I have found no records of it as yet. 1910 Census says she immigrated in 1861 but I am sure that is her and Jessy living with the Bennet family in the 1860 census for Dwight.
Daniel ( the third son) is My Great Grandfather.
I have not been able to locate Henrietta prier to Her marriage to Jesse.
You can also find her on the 1870 Huron Census for port huron and in the 1880Census in Caseville township, Huron Co. Michigan.
Laura and Sarah both died in Lake
Lake Township was taken from part of Caseville.
