bullet  Research Notes:

Robert McCulough is my husband's (Wayne) uncle. Robert had five sisters, one of whom is my husband's mother. We have lost track of Robert's family and have been trying to locate them.
About 23 years ago, I wrote the Swan River newspaper and Evelyn replied. My husband's family had lost contact with them but his mother, Zona, knew that Evelyn lived in Swan River. With Evelyn's help, I was able to reunite my husband's mother with her three missing sisters whom she hadn't seen in 67years. Evelyn knew where they all lived. She also had the death certificate for Robert's mother, Nettie May McCulloch, and her obituary. The spelling of Robert's surname on his birth certificate, of which I have a copy, thanks to Evelyn, is different from the rest of the children.
Do you know where Robert and Evelyn's children are now? I know that one of the wives was doing a family tree and I wanted to contact her to see what information she had so I didn't duplicate her work.
The big reason we want to contact them is that my husband's family and some of Nettie's other grandchildren are erecting a tombstone on Nettie May McCulloch's grave in Neepawa, MB, this summer and there will be a family gathering at the Riverside Cemetary, probably July 23, and 24, 2005. Nettie died of TB in 1916 at the age of 33 and is buried in a pauper's grave there.
Two of Robert's sisters, Opal and Irene, are still alive and living in Brandon.
