Lillian F. Simenson

Lillian F. Simenson, 86, died in the Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall, Wis., on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004.

She was born March 24, 1918, in the Township of Ettrick to Fred and Mary (Berg) Lindstrom. Lillian came to La Crosse when she was 17 years old. She worked at the La Crosse Auto-Lite for 10 years and Air Craft Parts for 12 years. She married Bernie Simenson on Jan. 30, 1937, and he preceded her in death in February of 1997.

Lillian is survived by a son, Gary (Charlene) Simenson of La Crosse; a granddaughter, Sarah (Jason) Holder of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two grandsons, Alan Simenson of La Crosse and Charles Simenson of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; a brother, Lester Lindstrom of Blair, Wis.

In addition to her husband, Lillian was preceded in death her parents and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 809 Gillette St., La Crosse. Burial will be in the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.
