Ann Graves had a sister Hannah she was born c1790, and married William Thurgood b c1780, one of their daughter's Emily Graves Thurgood emigrated to WA with husband (Thomas Edward Hill )and children

Emma Marsh married Charles Fitch 19 Jul 1857 Ashdon, he was born in Ashdon 13 Apr 1834 son of Samuel Fitch and Ann Amey Richardson. They had 2 boys Alfred Charles Fitch b Jan 1860 Ipswich St Mary Stoke Suffolk, baptised 14 April 1861 Ashdon. William b 1857 Ashdon.
Alfred was a blacksmith in Sheffield and raised a large family. William left a wife and 2 children in Sheffield and emigrated to WA and lived with his cousin my great grandmother Mary Ann Smith nee Fisher. His wife Lilly refused to come to WA and the family lost contact until recently when I contacted a descendant of Alfred thru Genes Reunited.
Emma Fitch nee Marsh moved to London and lived with William Hirons, check census, they had 8 children together. Of Charles Fitch there is no trace, he disappears after 1861. Was listed as a "navvy" on son's marriage cert.
The Hirons family did not raise the 2 Fitch boys, but W. Hirons took them to Sheffield to find work. I cannot find who looked after the boys after 1861, they too disappear until 1881.

George Marsh son of William Marsh, (1st born son of Griffin and Ann) discovered coal accidentally and died in the northern goldfields of Australia before claiming his 100 pound reward.
William Fitch son of Emma Marsh sunk the first shaft and brought up 1 ton of coal, he was paid 50 pounds.

Griffin and Ann had 3 children who died from scarlet fever in 1840. They were-
George b 22 Oct 1831 d 1 Jun 1840
Charles b 10 Sep 1833 d 23 May 1840
Martha b 27 Sep 1835 d 17 May 1840
They had after these children John b 1837, Emma b 1840 and another Charles b 7 May 1845.
The youngest Charles is the one who died here in WA, 1868, from a fall from his horse. Charles Griffin was never Charles only Griffin, but may have taken the name Charles after his brother Charles had left England for WA?
The family did have a tendency to name after deceased children, My Mary Ann Marsh lost a Sarah Ann and her next daughter born was named Sarah Anne, she also lost Henry and Harry but had no further boys.
