Obituary - WOOD, Clifford (Cliff) Melville - June 13, 1914 - May 25, 2000
peacefully at Maycrest, Alzheimer unit, in Peterborough. Cliff is
survived by his loving wife, Helen (Anderson), his children Ralph and
Gene, Ross and Janet and Holly-Jane and Rob and by his grandchildren
Christopher, Laura, Jennifer and Kerry. He will be remembered by Stephen
and many caring relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held from
the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Monday at 2 p.m. with cremation
following at Elmwood Crematorium in Belleville and burial of cremains at
at later date in McGillivray Cemetery at Paudash Lake. In Cliff's memory,
donations may be sent to Marycrest Home for the Aged, 200 St. Luke's Ave,
Peterborough, K9H 1E7. Arrangements entrusted to Baragar Funeral Home in
Bancroft.
Clifford married Helen Kathleen Anderson, daughter of William Lauchlin Anderson and Mary Jane Rumbelow, on 12 Aug 1939 in Toronto, ON. (Helen Kathleen Anderson was born on 12 Apr 1914 in Peterborough, Ontario.)
