William (Bill) Pickering ¹⁵²⁴

  General Notes:

moved to Winnipeg Aug 1990, moved from Burlington ON, was responsible for the CN operation of GO transit
among other positions, working from the CN Tower offices
in Toronto. Was in Winnipeg for 3 years,as Manager of
the Rail Traffic Control Centre, then they kicked me out
to CN Headquarters in Montreal, Manager of System
Operations for 5 years, then golden handshake. Never
settled in Quebec, hung out our hat here in Cornwall
and commuted..Retired here for 6 years, Annette taught
every location we moved over the years and retired 3 years
ago..
