Jean and Casey Wood's son, Sameul Casey Wood IV was born on July 11, 1940, in Toronto. After graduating from the University of Toronto Law School, Casey practised his profession in Oakville, On. and in Kelowna, B.C. At university he played football for the varsity team. He became a Toronto Argonaut player later.
Casey married Jane Bleming in S. Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) on December 3, 1966. Their first daughter Sandra Lynn Wood was born in 1967. Judith Anne Wood was born in 1970.
Casey died young on July 10, 1977, of a cardiac arrhythmia while jogging. His body was cremated and his ashes scattered in the mountains near Kelowna.
Jame remarried in 1994 to Derek Perkins and they continue to live in Kelowna, B.C. 5
