bullet  General Notes:

_______________________________________
Death Registration:
Elizabeth Moore, death registered in Leominster, June qtr, 1932, vol 6a, page 613
ordered same from GRO Sept 26, 2005.... received October 4th, 2005

This death proved out to be someone other than the grandmother of Victor Childs.

details were: died 4th April, 1932, The Broads Farm, Leominster U.D., Elizabeth Moore, age 72 years, husband: William Francis Moore, a farmer, with a daughter Nellie C Moulsher, of 4 High Street, Leominster.

This turn of events was not unexpected as the Vic's grandmother Elizabeth Moore should have been born a full 10 years earlier around 1850 (as per census records) rather than the approximate date of 1860 as indicated by the photo of cemetery monument in his possession.

This 1932 death registration now appears to document the wife of William Francis Moore, son of James Moore and Elizabeth (Thornton) Moore. jca

further research examining 1901 census records show the connection between William Moore (born abt 1874) and farm servant and the widow Elizabeth James, farmer of Pembridge, Herefordshire.
