LDS film 807914, townland of Stoney Hill, near Cairncastle, Co. Antrim.. :
Martha Harkness, Servant, Presbyterian, read/write, age 25, female, Cook,Domestic Servant, not married, born Co. Antrim.
(living (and working) in home of Mark Francis Wilson, Justice of the peace)
note by editor. In light of the proximity to Cairncastle and being found on the same census film as that containing the 1901 census of Wilson and Grace Harkness (and sons) inc. Hugh Harkness, I believe that it will eventually be proven that Martha is a sister of Hugh Harkness. Her birth date fits nicely in between that of John and Hugh Harkness and has the same religion (presbyterian) and was born in Co. Antrim. note by JC Anderson)
