John Tomlinson is shown in the 1861 census with wife Ann, 44 born Doncaster, and in the 1881 census with wife Mary A, age 64, born Doncaster. Clearly the same wife.
In 1861 four of Ann’s children with William Allsop are living with them. William Allsop’s wife was Mary Ann Lilley They married in Worksop 21st January 1838. Both were minors, William a sawyer, father Thomas Allsop.
