Research Notes:
Feb 12, 2012 Hello, The Dyson tree makes a connection with my family through Hugh Leigh Norris who was my grandfather's brother. Hugh died in the "Battle of Jutland" he was Fleet Surgeon, sailed normally on the HMS Chatham but at that sea battle he was on the Indefatigable which suffered a direct hit and disappeared in under 3 minutes. His daughter Lavinia was killed on the Brooklands Motor racing track, the only passenger ever to die there, the car she was in , the centre bolt or ubolt on a front spring broke. Did not marry. WW 1 caused quite a few of my family branches to die out. Regards, Michael Norris New Zealand _____________________________ Helen Lavender Norris From GracesGuide
