bullet  Research Notes:

Emily Seabrooke Dyson - looks like she left Alexander
Salmon and her daughters (2 or 3 born in India) and
married again to Anthony Baldwin who was born in India
and a Major in the Manchester Regiment of Infantry.
She by 1901 had 2 more daughters, Mary, age 3 and born
in London, Betty, age 1 and born in Stalybridge, Cheshire
which is where they are living at time of 1901 Census.

England GRO records:
marriage: Dyson, Emily Seabrook, 3rd quarter 1898, Kensington, vol 1a, page 410

When searching through Ancestry for death records of
the Dysons, I also looked for Emily but couldn't find
her or her husband, Anthony Hugh Baldwin.

So, thinking perhaps she had married again, looked
through the marriages and found:

Emily S Baldwin
3rd Q 1917
Kensington
Vol 1a page 445
Name of Spouse: Boroughs

That Kensington connection got me looking further. By
cross-referencing was able to determine the spouse's
name is Albert E Boroughs. (I sure like that they
started to put the spousal name in 1912, James.)

Anyhow, still didn't feel on solid ground with this
info esp. since I couldn't find husband #2.

Well the light bulb finally clicked: he's a military
man and we're in WWI dates so let's search the
Commonwealth War Graves database and voila! there he
is, killed August 1915 in Turkey.

I now feel comfortable in suggesting that this is
probably our Emily Seabrooke Dyson, married a 3rd time
so will now search Ancestry for her date of death
under the name Boroughs.

(An hour later...)

Okay, I think this is it:

Emily S Boroughs
d. 3rd Q 1949 - age 87
Acle
Vol 4b page 278

and:

Albert E Boroughs
d. 2nd Q 1948 - age 79
Acle
Vol 4b page 289

Emily was born in 1862 so the age calculates okay.

Cheers,
Maureen
