  Research Notes:

Catherine (O'Neil) O'Doherty shows an age of 15 on the 1861 census, but seems to gradually show herself as being born later in following census takings. ( age 22 on the 1871, age 30 on the 1881 , age 49 on the 1901 , and age 60 on the 1911 census. ) In my experience the earlier the census, the more honest the given age of the person. jca
