bullet  Research Notes:

I am a JACK descendant of the George JACK and Jane/Jean HILL line. They were my gggrandparents. My ggrandfather was George JACK, brother to the Margaret JACK who seems to be your line. An aunt of mine, on a visit to Scotland many years ago saw the JACK family Bible which had belonged to George and Jane/Jean (the Bible uses Jean HILL as her name) and it also mentions her date of death as being 23 July 1845 - at least that it what it looks like to me when I view my photocopy of that page in the family Bible. Will try to find out who has that Bible. All my family dates are based on the information given there.
Great website!
