6 Patricia Sears, of Ottawa, Ontario. February 2, 2005
My 3x great grandparents were John Hudson and Elizabeth Nanson of Penrith. Their daughter Margaret married James Robertson of Perthshire, Scotland and emigrated to Canada in 1850s. They settled eventually in Wellington County, Ontario - and were the heads of a very prolific family.
The Nansons were mostly hatmakers and lawyers. I have a copy of Elizabeth Nanson's father's will.
