Here is a fairly detailed map of the Schwerin See showing Hohen Viecheln the marriage location of Johann (John) Oberlin in 1852 prior to arriving in the United States. This map also shows the town of Retgendorf on the eastern shore where John's father Johann Joachim Christoph Aeberlin was married in 1820.
