NOTE: BIG change for booking courts.
Bookings are now only for a 1 hr period.
So if we want to play longer we will need to book back to back courts.

THE PLAYERS THAT ACTUALLY APPEAR ON THE TENNIS COURTS MAY BE CHECKED BY GLOBAL STAFF TO ENSURE THEY MATCH THE NAMES ON THEIR BOOKING SHEETS.

SO ALL PLAYER SUBSTITUTIONS MUST BE REFLECTED BY EDITING THE QUICK-DRAWS BOOKING FOR THAT EVENING.. THEN EMAIL JIM TO HAVE HIM POST THE CHANGES TO THE SMIRK WEB PAGE.

Instructions:

Once into the booking website:
click on Member Login
Enter at least part of your last name
Select your name from the popup list.
Enter your password , click on Login

Click on "Tennis Court" to make a booking.
Select desired day:
select court and time by clicking
"Book me"
Select 3 more of our Smirk players and then
"Complete This Booking" and log off.

We need to book 2 courts on Saturday for the Tuesday matches and book 2 courts on Monday for Thursday matches.

On-line bookings open at 12:00 am on the day
available to book our courts.
(Saturday and Monday - 12:00 am)
(OR 1 DAY EARLIER IF
ALL 4 players have 5 day booking privileges)

Always Find Your Own Spare
Never ask another player to do this for you. If you do not show or arrange a spare, you could be moved to the spares list or perhaps even excommunicated. (Ouch...) .

“Want to be Regular”
If you are a spare and would like to play regularly, please Email Jim so he is aware that you would like to be a regular player.

Arrival Time
Please respect the other players by arriving 5 to 10 minutes before the booking time.  We frequently can warm up on a court prior to the booking time.  If you arrive after the booking time, you will be upsetting other players by delaying the start of play.

Set #2 and #3
As soon as one court has completed their set it is time to start the next set.  The court with play still underway will complete their game and the winning team (1 or more games up) will move up a court.  If they are tied, they immediately play a tie-breaker.

Cross Over the Net
We are moving back to our original procedure of mixing up the teams.  One team member must cross over the net … spin the racquet to decide.
