The Old Parish Registers of Scotland have on record a marriage entry of:

Mary Ann Newberry and Aeneas Sutherland dated 15/03/1836 in the Parish of Roberton,
(frame 562)

which is an excellent match to the recently found 1841 census record of Mary Sutherland, age 3 with her grandparents William and Sophia Newberry in Selkirk, Selkirkshire. Note that William and Sophias son William Newberry was located in Roberton on the 1841 census.
