Letter from Orville and Louise Larson,
687 E. McKinely Avenue
Sunnyvale, Calif. 94086

Dec 20, 1981

"Dear Jim,
Your phone call was great, only wished I could help more. I got my papers out to see if I had added more notes and found a few inked in-

Mathias Christianson (came in 1880) and Beathe came across from Norway March 14, 1881, Cost $135.60 Gunnard (sic) Steerage Passage, Liverpool to N.Y.
This you have but I have noted Pedersdotter by Beathe, also the name of Polson as her last name. Bernie recalled those 2 name but no one is sure about them.

The name Granum may be because Pete and Christian stayed on that place when they came here, there still is a Granum Coulee. Tonita and Ole Larson were Orville's grandparents and came from Jovik or Biri, Norway - Orville thinks his dad (Christian O. 14 years old) came first and Andrew Olson later. Andrew was Ole's son - so Olson.

Later on Tonita and Ole came after Christian and Andrew were here. That's the way its understood but no one is positive.
They sailed from Trondheim, Norway. Orville remembers the name of Lillehammer spoken of too.
Hope this will help you but suppose you have all this info. If Mom and Dad come, maybe talking together will bring more names out- Hope so.
Greet all & best wishes-
Orville and Louise"
