Mr. Anton (Tony) Olson of Sturgis, Saskatchewan passed away 25 April 1979 at the Sherbrooke Nursing Home in Saskatoon at the age of 95. Born in 1883 in Kongsvinger, Norway, he came to Chicago in 1885 and later in 1912 immigrated to Saskatchewan, settling near Buchanan. He worked in the Preeceville area as a farmer, lumberman and carpenter and as Sturgis Town Constable during the 1950's. Predeceased by his parents, two sisters, four brothers, his first wife Gena (1918) and a son Arthur in 1977, he leaves to mourn his passing his wife Bessie of Sturgis, a son Gilbert of Trail, B.C. a son Bruce of Trenton, Ontario, and two grandchildren. _______________________________________________ Pallbearers were: Norman Nelson, Peter Olson, Gordon Hanson, Victor Wasylenchuk, Warren Holmberg and Oliver Larson _______________________________________________
