William??? Rutherford

Hello,
While playing on the Internet, I came across this resource and searched my ancestor, Richard Rutherford. I'm traveling to South Monaghan, Ontario to do further research for some pictures this weekend. Thought you might like to know that I have a four inch book on this family line. Richard was indeed married to Jane Nichol, but he was an Englishman of Scottish descent. He was born in England and christened there. He was a sheepherder in the Cheviots and lived near Falstone, England. His father was William.

If you have other information about the family line going backwards, please let me know. I have not traced it further than Richard's father.
