Mae B. Dahlby
ONALASKA, Wisconsin - Ma B. Dahlby, 88, died Tuesday, October 8, 1996 at the Franciscan Skemp Nursing Home-Onalaska. She was born August 29, 1908 in Middle Ridge, to Joseph and Christine (Kreibich) Mikshowsky.
She married Chester B. Dahlby on June 16, 1937 at St. Peter's Church of Middle Ridge. Mae worked in La Crosse for many years, farmed with her husband in the La Crosse area and retired form Outers Laboratory of Onalaska.
Mae is survived by her husband, Chester of Holmen; a daughter, Marilyn (Charles) Evans of La Crosse; three sons, James (Earlamae) of Stoddard, Gerald (Anita) of Onalaska, Chester "Terry" (Mary) of La Crescent, Minnesota; nine grandchildren, Jolene (Michael) Bautch of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Deborah (Scott) Braund of Holmen, Stacey Dahlby of Menomonee, Angela Rickaway of Tucson, Arizona, Dawn (Gary) Jurkovich of Burnsville, Minnesota, Sara (Paul) Jeranek of Onalaska, Wisconsin, John Evans of Racine, Chris Dahlby of Stoddard, and Jason Dahlby of La Crescent, Minnesota; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Braund and Emma Bautch. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth, her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Holmen Lutheran Church, with Pastors Charles Evavold and Daniel Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Mormon Coulee Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dickinson Funeral Home, Holmen, and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Holmen Lutheran Church before services.
