This family is very likely the source of the Jane Bonner who married Robert Fizette in Niagara in 1851. It would appear to be the only Bonner family in Niagara and even all of Lincoln County in 1851.
Robert Fizette succeeded Bever Bonner as the chief constable of Niagara in 1866.

At a later meeting it was moved that B. Bonner be appointed market clerk, high bailiff, bell ringer, inspector of chimneys, and poundkeeeper, at a salary of 75 pounds a year. One of the council objected to this munificent salary as an unnecessary expenditure of the public funds.
