A search of the LDS IGI files for Scotland looking for children of Alexander McKinven pulls up three earlier births born to Alexander McKinven and Nelly Mclean from 1841 to 1846 all in Killean & Kilchenzie, Argyll, Scotland which in perhaps indicates that this could be the same Alexander McKinven who fathered at least six children with Jane Stewart from 1850 to 1860 also in the same area of Killean & Kilchenzie, Argyll, Scotland.

This entry was supplied to me by another researcher. Isabella McKINVEN, Flora CURRIE & Jane McKINVEN are 3 STEWART sisters there is another, Elizabeth who married, Donald, another son of Neil Snr listed above. I would imagine that Flora & Jane were visiting to celebrate the birth of Flora.
