bullet  General Notes:

Olga was about 6 when her mom died. Olga went to Saskatchewan from West Salem, Wisconsin, in 1912. She worked housework for a year, returning to Wisconsin in the summer and back to Saskatchewan in the fall of 1912.

Olga and Perry were married in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on November 10, 1913. They homesteaded outside of Hanley, Saskatchewan, one year, then moved to Glenside, Saskatchewan, where they raised cattle, sheep, wheat, and some oats. Ten children were born here. After the 1930 drought years, they were forced to move out. The moved the family by teams, driving cattle and sheep 100 miles north to Crystal Springs, where they bought a farm.

Three more children were born here. They remained here until retirement in 1956. They moved to Prince Albert, stayed until 1965 when they moved to Penticton, British Columbia, where Perry passed away in 1967.

MUSSELMAN THEME SONG
(Sequel to 1975 Version)
Tune: John Brown's Body

We're still the Mighty Musselmans who come from far and near
Some on Coffee, some on Tea, and some a bit of Beer.
The fact of the matter is that we are all still most sincere
And everyone knows everyone is very very dear.

CHORUS:
Glory Glory what a super bunch are we
Young or old, big or small, it's one great family
Glory Glory what a super bunch are we
It's really great to be a part of this big family tree.

Our love is true, our love is strong and thankful we shall be
The family's growing more and more and each new one a glee
Who has more fun it is not known and we shall never care
If someone needs another then they surely will be there.

CHORUS

We all have mellowed through the years through lots of laughter, lots of tears.
Some gone to a better place way beyond our dreams.
And we all hope that in the end together we will be
In the greatest dream of all, the dream sublime eternity.

CHORUS
