My mother Ellen brought us kids, Lawrence, Laverne, and me to Portland in 1936 to live with my grandfather, Albert K. Dahlseide. We lived in Linnton, Oregon and my grandfather worked at the Clark and Wilson Lumber Mill.

Ellen married Vernon Lea Anderson, son of James Andrew Anderson and Jennie Lauretta Winch, in Buchanan, Saskatchewan. (Vernon Lea Anderson was born on 7 Nov 1896 in Walsh Cty., N. Dakota, USA,12 13 14 15 died on 26 Dec 1982 in Estevan, Sask 16 and was buried in Forget, RM Techumseh, Saskatchewan 16.) The cause of his death was Pneumonia.
Ellen next married Otto Johanne Jensen. (Otto Johanne Jensen was born on 19 Jul 1904,10 died on 20 Oct 1987 in Clackamas County, Oregon 10 17 and was buried in Skyline Memorial Gardens, OR.) |

Gloria (Anderson) Marek, personal knowledge. I telephoned Gloria Marek, Nov 30, 2003.. she says Rudy's father was Jeff and brother was Bernard.. (older brother), his mother died when Rudy was 16 . her name was Ella Havlik... The family came from Texas before moving to Oregon.

Otto Johan Jensen
Funeral for Otto Johan Jensen will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Jensen died Tuesday in a Clackamas hospital. He was 83.
He was born and raised in Norway and became a fisherman, boat builder and carpenter.
Mr. Jensen came to Portland in 1951. He retired in 1972 after being employed as a working shareholder for 18 years for Multnomah Plywood Corp., where he was a Raiman Patcher operator. He was a member of North Portland Eagles.
Survivors include his sons, Odd and Ronald, both of Portland; five grand-children and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the American Heart Assocation.
