It is located along Highway 12 , at an elevation of 730 meters (2,395 ft). The settlement includes a hall, a store, a playground, and two ball diamonds. This small town is a large centre for children to participate on softball teams during the summer months. Duncan married Mary Victoria Collins about 1882 in ON. (Mary Victoria Collins was born on 3 Jan 1860 in Ontario,7 died on 11 Jun 1925 and was buried in Kirriemuir Cemetary, Alberta.)
