My grandfather took his own life, and apparently was a heavy drinker/gambler. My grandmother took sick and died a few years before my grandfather died. The pressure of raising all those children (at that particular time in history), coupled with his drinking problem, drove him to end his life. All of my mom's siblings were raised by other family members (aunts and uncles)." Clinton William Steenson, February, 2002 Herbert married Margaret Traynor about 1907. (Margaret Traynor was born about 1896, died in May 1932 and was buried in Kirriemuir Cemetary, Alberta.)
