General Notes:
of Edson Alberta, Mrs. G. Mailhot.. ___________________________________________________________ email from Shirley Hartman of Dodgville, Wis to James C. Anderson regarding Bernice and Gaston Henry Mailhot.. Nov 15, 2000
Bernice is the 10th child of Christ hanson and wife Nelly. She married Gaston Henry Mailhot on 28 June 1950 in Regina. His nickname was Nash. Children were as you said except that I was given the birthdate for Norman as 1 Mar 1953. I got this from Bernice herself. Birthplaces you have are correct. And yes, she was a sister to Hulda who died in the fire. Hulda was the oldest child in that family. You asked about birth records and marriage records etc, I have nothing as I got all the "old" stuff from you after your trip to SLC that year. I did get some letters from a guy here in Madison about the family (not a relative but a geneaolgy person) and I will try to dig those up in the next few days when I have time. Another thing that is here somewhere, is a letter from Terje Nordraak that I got last year. There was quite a bit in it, but I cannot find it now that I want it. Nothing is thrown away, just misplaced that a retired person would find. I think I really need to get away from there. I may ask for a couple of weeks off in Jan, just to catch up. Thanks also for the letter from Andreas Petterson. I misplaced that to, but knew it existed. Sorry I can't be of more help right now, but this email stuff is a neat way to keep in touch and we do not have to wait days for the mailman to get it here. Take care cuz, and keep in touch.
