Viewing the property via Google Maps indicates that this address if a large Victorian era single family dwelling , large enough for family and servants and is now likely converted to rental flats. jca
Note: F. Victor Fisher is still living in this same residence in 1936 and in 1937 as per the LONDON telephone book of that year.
By 1939, 1940 and still in 1949 , our F. Victor Fisher is living at 26 Buckland Cres, N.W. 3, London as per the London telephone books.

An Empty Grave
Scattered throughout the county are a number of what appear to be gravestones marking the last resting place of deceased servicemen. In this, however, they are misleading, for there is no body and they must be viewed as memorials.
One such rather neglected example is in the churchyard of St Thomas's Church, Kendal where a stone commemorates Captain Evelyn Henry Le Mesurier Sinkinson, 24th Punjabis. He 'Fell Heroically' near Nazirieh (Nasariyah), Mesopotamia (Iraq), on July 4th 1915, aged 33.
Why is the memorial here? The CWGC Debt of Honour register shows that his mother, Katharine Irene - the widow of Edward James Sinkinson of the Indian Civil Service, was remarried to a Mr Fisher by the time the Imperial War Graves Commision was gathering personal information in the early 1920s and living at 49 Haverstock Hill, Hampstead, London. Captain Evelyn was born in Allahabad. So, did they live in Kendal during the war years? Was Captain Evelyn married with a home in Kendal?

What if Mr. Frederick Victor Fisher. profession Medical Journalist living at 49 Haverstock Hill , Hampstead, London in 1911 was a journalist working for the London Times??
remember Mr. Howard Angus Kennedy?? the employer of Alice Morad in 1911 and later in Canada in 1925.?. He worked as a journalist for the London Times ..
hmmmm... Are these two journalists the connection between Alice and the father of Katherine Irene Vigurs??

name of the daughter of Alice Morad in 1920 was Katherine Irene Vigurs

The following is from the Metropolitan Police files in London and may not be for the correct Harry Vigurs, but is included in this file in any case as he is a possible match to the " Private Enquiry Agent" shown on the 1912 birth record of Katherine Irene Vigurs. jca
Harry Last Vigurs
The record of his appointment to the Metropolitan Police shows that he was appointed on 30th July 1906 following an examination on the 5th June when he was listed as aged 21, single, born at Willesdon on 12th August 1884 and resident at 5 Railway Terrace, Bletchley. He was then working for the London Midland Railway where he had been employed for 4 1/2 years. He was 5' 9", 11st 4lbs, had a 34.7" chest, fresh complexion, hazel eyes and dark hair and was not a member of any secret society! He was one of an intake of 149 PCs that July and was appointed to 'H' division (Whitechapel). In Sept 1915 he was promoted Sergeant and moved to 'D' division (Marylebone), in 1919 to 'J' division (Hammersmith) and on 30th September 1925 was reduced to a PC and moved to 'G' division, resigning three months later.
Unfortunately the record of his leaving the force is missing from the records so there is no indication of the transgression for which he was demoted to PC or of his address or any spouse at the date of his resignation.
I also found a 1926 directory of London but no Vigurs is listed anywhere.

The 1911 census of England shows a Harry Vigurs, Male, age 38, (born abt 1873?) in Fulham, London, born London , Battersee, as well as Harry Vigurs, age 1, in Fulham, London
And examination of the original census document indicates he was a Sawmill Worker with a family of wife Annie, and 6 children age 15 to 1 year of age.
