George Hudson ^83,85

Hi everyone:

Just to let you know it's 31C here today in Wellton --- a tad warm!

Anyhow, haven't had much time to do any genealogy but did find a tidbit that looked interesting:

It is in the 1900 Census for Montana, USA

They show one George Hudson, born April 1869 in England and living in Great Falls, Montana, He is single and immigrated to US in 1890

The head of household is a William Valberg

In border crossings I also found a George Hudson crossing at Sweet Grass, Montana.

Then I found a death registration from Montana Office of Vital Statistics for a George Hudson, died 21 Jan 1917 - Index #115-638

As well as a George Hudson died 12 July 1919 in County of Musselshell, Index Musl 83 - Montana State Genealogy Society

The last record we have of George is the 1891 Census in Alberta with Elizabeth Mary and the kids. His birthdate is not right as he was born in 1869 according to the 1871 and 1881 English Census.

But also note a George Hudson showing up on the 1901 census of Yukon on the boat "Yukoner" , male, white, single, age 32, born England, date of arrival in Canada 1884, 6 months in the Yukon, Canadian, occ Waiter SB, salary $150 The 1884 immigration date matches that of the date that Florence Hudson gave on the 1901 census, however other children gave different and quite a spread of immigration dates. (jca.. as of March 20, 2011)
