HENRY M KALBAKKEN
Henry Melvin Kalbakken passed away Monday morning at his home on North
Ridge, Coon valley, at the age of 71 years.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Helmer and Clarence; one daughter,
Selma; one sister, Mrs. J T Johnson; and one brother, Theodore Kalbakken.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at the
Coon Valley church at 2 p. m., the Rev. Bach officiating. Interment will
be made in the Coon Valley cemetery.

COON VALLEY
Coon Valley, Wis. - (Special) - Funeral services were held Thursday
afternoon for Melvin Kalbakken, 71, who passed away suddenly Monday morning
after suffering a stroke.
Melvin Kalbakken was born March 19, 1866, at the Kalbakken home at North
Ridge, where he always resided. His parents were Hans and Randine
Kalbakken. He was united in marriage to Mattie Hove October 19, 1909.
Surviving him are his wife, one daughter, Selma; two sons, Helmer and
Clarence; one sister, Mrs. John Johnson, and one brother, Theodore Kalbakken.
Services were held in the Upper Coon Valley church with interment in the
adjoining cemetery. The Rev. H O Bach officiated.

Henry married Mathea Hovemone on 19 Oct 1909.
